Launch of Thuraya 4 (Thuraya 4-NGS) satellite via SpaceX Falcon 9
Thuraya's next-generation satellite, built by Airbus on the Eurostar Neo all-electric platform (12-metre L-band antenna, up to 3,200 channels), was launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral to replace Thuraya 2 and expand mobile-satellite coverage across Africa, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East, underpinning plans for 15+ new products in defense, government, IoT and direct-to-device segments.
