Overview

Silal is Abu Dhabi's leading food and agri-tech company, established under ADQ (a major Abu Dhabi sovereign investor) to diversify food sources and strengthen agri-food manufacturing and distribution across the UAE. It deploys smart irrigation, crop-monitoring sensors, AI-driven cultivation, and blockchain-based farm-to-fork traceability across its farm network, and operates business units including Silal Fresh, Silal Food, and a portfolio-companies arm. The company has grown via acquisitions (SAFCO, Al Bakrawe Holding, Sherwood) and built the Silal Innovation Oasis R&D hub in Al Ain plus the UAE's largest automated produce packhouse.
