Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) completed a private sale-and-purchase agreement to acquire 179.55 million shares (54%) of MBC Group from Istedamah Holding Co. for SAR 7.46 billion (~$1.99 billion), executed as a negotiated off-market deal via the Saudi Exchange; MBC shares rose ~9.98% to SAR 45.75 on the announcement.

AGC International began offering worldwide sales rights for "Desert Warrior," a ~$130-150m adventure epic co-produced by Saudi's MBC Studios and Jeremy Bolt's JB Pictures, directed by Rupert Wyatt and starring Anthony Mackie, Aiysha Hart and Ben Kingsley, filmed in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk province; the film screened at the American Film Market (Nov 2025) with active negotiations with US buyers, ahead of a regional premiere at Red Sea Film Festival.
