InstaShop acquired GroCart, a Dubai-founded B2B e-commerce wholesale marketplace connecting FMCG retailers with suppliers (200+ suppliers, 5,000+ products, 15,000+ orders processed), to expand into traditional trade and HORECA business across the MENA region. GroCart was founded in 2020 by Hussein Hosni and Nesma Zaghow. Deal value undisclosed.

talabat fully acquires InstaShop from Delivery Hero
talabat (Delivery Hero's MENA subsidiary, UAE-listed) acquired 100% of InstaShop's share capital from parent Delivery Hero SE for $32 million, funded from internal cash reserves, as part of a corporate restructuring following talabat's December 2024 IPO. InstaShop continues to operate as an independent brand within talabat's Grocery & Retail division across UAE and Egypt. talabat CEO Tomaso Rodriguez and InstaShop CEO Nikola Cabarkapa were quoted on the deal.
