Overview

Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) is a government-owned utility that distributes and sells electricity and (recycled) water across the city of Abu Dhabi, the Al Dhafra region, and surrounding areas, as a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA). Effective January 2025, ADDC merged operationally with Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) under a single unified brand, "TAQA Distribution," following a corporate rebrand TAQA unveiled in September 2024. The addc.ae website itself now presents the TAQA Distribution brand and confirms the combined entity continues serving residential and business customers across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
